Adolescence is the period of rapid growth and development, and brings about various changes in physical parameters which increase the requirement of Nutrients.

Do
  1. A nutritionally well balanced diet should be consumed.
  2. Diet must have good quality protein.
  3. Green Leafy Vegetables, other vegetables and fruits must be consumed in plenty.
  4. Involve in at least 60 minutes of physical activity.
  5. Fried and Junk foods must be consumed in moderation.
  1. They must not skip meals or starve themselves, especially breakfast.
  2. Do not let them consume excessive salt and sugar.
  3. Abstain from smoking, chewing tobacco and drinking alcohol.
  4. Do not use electronic gadgets while enjoying food.
  5. Do not let them munch on processed and fast foods in excess.
